Solutionize Global are one of the UK’s fastest-growing IT Managed Service and Professional Services Providers. Working with one of the world’s largest OEM’s we are looking to hire a commercially focussed Group CFO to take ownership of SG’s financial sustainability, driving financial performance & maximising return on investment. The role will provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and will play a pivotal role in formulating future financial strategies.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a key member of C-Suite, the Group Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall vision of multiple businesses and all the various revenue streams. The Group CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. This will include overseeing accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing.

 

Strategic Finance:

  • Investments: Stocks, Consultancy, knowledge, and execution of the hot investments in the current markets (diversification of the business) How to maximise cost effectiveness in all businesses.
  • Profit analysis (Looking at our biggest revenue streams etc)
  • Cost analysis (How much do deals cost)
  • Analysing returns on staff (ie salary, commissions against deals)
  • Contract Analysis across the board; IR35, Consultancy, resourcing, GDPR, public sector, private sector – ensuring that contracts are changed as legislation changes
  • Oversee the Fleet; Insurance, lease/rental companies (who offers the best deal) How to maximise tax/cost-effectiveness of cars etc
  • Presenting options of any tax-efficient perks/ benefits to the CEO at regular intervals
  • Empowering both themselves and their team to push back to resources to ensure they do their job (chase account details, deal with contractor queries)
  • Assistance on Bids & Contracts
  • Management of bank accounts
  • Accountable for all external auditors

 

 Managing all aspects relating to the Financial Health of the Businesses;

  • Working with our Finance Providers – Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with Accountants to ensure legal compliance is maintained

 

Skills and Experience:

  • IT Managed Services Experience
  • R&D Tax Credits – understanding, experience and Successful execution
  • Experience in ‘build to sell’ – successful sale execution
  • To assist the 3.5 Year road map on IT Managed Services and Professional Services revenge streams
  • 5 years in a similar role
  • Previous Operational Experience – very desirable
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership skills and strategic vision
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo
  • Visionary thinking of systems and data
  • Ability to motivate and engage own team and the wider team
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Cash management, financial accounting, and finance competence
